Personal Software Process (PSP) is necessary to introduce the Team Software Process (TSP) into an organization. In addition to training the team's software engineers, all non-software engineering team members and associated managers must be exposed to the technologies by way of the following training courses. TSP Executive Strategy Seminar The first class offered in the PSP and TSP technologies is the TSP Executive Strategy Seminar. This course is designed to educate managers and company executives about the PSP and TSP potential benefits. PSP for Engineers I & II Course To become a PSP-trained software engineer, candidates must complete the PSP for Engineers course. Managing TSP Teams Course The Managing TSP Teams course shows managers how to get the most out of their PSP-trained engineers. Introduction to Personal Process Course Members of a software development team who are not software engineers (i.e., test engineers, technical writers, trainers, etc.) should take this course in preparation for participating on or with a TSP team. PSP Instructor Training Course The authorization process for becoming a PSP Instructor includes completing the PSP Instructor Training course by the SEI in Pittsburgh, PA. TSP Coach Training Course The authorization process for becoming a TSP Coach includes completing the TSP Coach Training by the SEI in Pittsburgh, PA.
