The Software Engineering Institute released  the latest study on TSP:

The Team Software Process (TSP) in Practice: A Summary of Recent Results

Noopur Davis and Julia Mullaney
Technical Report CMU/SEI-2003-TR-014, September 2003

Abstract: Most software organizations are facing critical business needs for better cost and schedule management, effective quality management, and cycle-time reduction. The Team Software Process addresses these critical business needs. This report provides results and implementation data from projects and individuals that have adopted the TSP. The results show that TSP teams are delivering essentially defect-free software on schedule, while improving productivity. These data can be used for benchmarking and planning, motivation, lessons learned, and other guidance to those currently using the TSP or considering its use. The report also illustrates adoption experiences of practitioners in the field, including TSP team members, their managers, and their coaches and instructors.

Transition Strategies for Large Scale Introduction

September 17-20, 2007
Disney's Boardwalk Inn
Orlando, Florida

The Software Engineering Institute, Carnegie Mellon University, is pleased to announce the second Team Software Process (TSP) Symposium at Disney's Boardwalk Inn, Orlando, Florida.

The TSP Symposium is the event where all of the yearly TSP activities will occur. The purpose of the conference is to bring together the users, adopters, and developers of the TSP, those involved in its development and transition, and those who are new to the technology and eager to learn more. The attendees will have the opportunity to exchange ideas, concepts, and lessons learned concerning the experiences, best practices, and suggested introduction strategy for the TSP methods and practices.

This symposium will provide a forum for the free exchange of ideas and implementation methodology for TSP, and will afford a unique opportunity to meet with the sponsors, developers, and users of TSP, as well as those offering TSP training, coaching, and implementation assistance.
